Embark on a hands on journey through six of the most celebrated Arabic calligraphy scripts. Throughout the course, you will discover the history, evolution, and unique characteristics of each script while learning the fundamental principles of constructing authentic letterforms.
With step by step guidance, you will practice writing each script before creating your own names, words, or short phrases. By the end of the course, you will leave with a collection of original calligraphic works and a deeper appreciation of one of the world's richest artistic traditions.
The Instructor
Hussein Alazaat is a multidisciplinary designer, Arabic calligraphy artist, and founder of ALAZAAT Studio and ELHARF House in Amman, Jordan. For more than two decades, his work has explored the intersection of Arabic calligraphy, visual culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary design through cultural, educational, and public projects across Arabia and beyond.
